Since January 2015 Suzanne Iannaccone, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) has provided psychotherapy to persons struggling with a wide range of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, anger management, bereavement, eating disorders, and addictions at her privet practice Seeking Serenity Therapy, which was located in Matawan NJ, before moving to Boise ID in September of 2018.
Prior to starting her own practice, Suzanne worked as a therapist providing individual mental health counseling at Evermore Wellness in Highland Park, NJ.
Earlier in her career she was employed at Saint Barnabas Behavioral Health as a psychiatric social worker and later as a mental health therapist in their inpatient, out patient and partial care programs.
Suzanne earned her Baccalaureate and Masters degrees at Rutgers University. Her internship was conducted at Discovery Institute for Addictive Disorders. There she counseled individuals and groups and gave lectures to the therapeutic community. During her Baccalaureate internship she provided incarcerated individuals and the general community with emotional support, referrals, and STD information at Hyacinth Aids Foundation. She is currently a member of The National Association of Social Workers.
Suzanne believes in starting where the client is at and that the foundation for growth starts with a positive nonjudgmental accepting relationship between therapist and client. Working like a team side by side exploring the client’s issues and difficulties is her preferred approach.
Suzanne Iannaccone uses her knowledge base and therapeutic techniques to help the client reduce debilitating stress and discomfort, to learn new coping skills, and to move towards their highest potential.
